I ordered Distinctly Dylusional: A Guide to Art Journaling because I thought it would be helpful to have the steps for creating Dyan's backgrounds and techniques in print in front of me. And I was right. This book is as colorful as Dyan's style, and gives clear directions that are easy to follow. Some of her tips and suggestions were especially helpful, such as grouping the inks by color. It is helpful to have watched videos of her demonstrations, and then be able to refer to the guide. The book will also be useful when using Distress products as well, which is a double bonus for me. An excellent addition to my crafting library because it will get used.
